Adventurous Vocabulary!
In order to gain a high level, your adventure story will need to contain lots of great vocabulary. Log in to Quizlet (using the link at the top of the blog) and search for 'seankelly85'. You should then request to join my Year 7 class. Once you have done this, spend some time revising some of the key vocabulary 'Year 7 Adventure Stories: Key Vocabulary'.

Planning your adventure story!
Copy and paste the table (below) into a word document and complete it by inserting some key information that you will use in each section of your story.
'Interesting introduction' and 'Set the scene in detail' have some suggestions for the types of features you could use in these sections of the story - you just have to think of some nice sentences for each feature.

Decide whether each of the sentences below contains a simile, metaphor, or personification. Write down your answers in your notebook (e.g. 1. Simile).

- In the top hand corner put it in English (UK)
- Click on Create Free Account
- Enter your details and click Create Account

- Click on the + symbol above the boxes in the centre of the screen
- Click on an empty tile

- Click on Save
